All these trucks contained the food brought from New York City in great containers. There was the lobster Newburg which was not mixed until it got into the executive mansion. All the ingredients were fixed for the sauce. The lobster can't be heated too long, and so forth. Everything was done perfectly. There was all the equipment - the linens, the silver, the dishes - from Sherry's. There were little gold chairs from Sherry's and so on.

It was magnificent. It was such food as hadn't been served in Albany in many a year. It was very super de luxe food. Elizabeth Marbury was around seeing to everything, giving orders to the head waiter saying, “Get more lobster Newburg. Get more champagne.” It was Elizabeth Marbury who was in charge of that part of the wedding. It was perfectly obvious that she was. Mrs. Smith wasn't bestirring herself at all. In fact, it was very nice because she was perfectly at ease and receiving the guests. She didn't have to worry about whether the guests were getting enough food and getting it properly.

It was a beautiful day. The grounds were all opened. The magnificent show was pulled off. It was a great show. Al was very happy. The champagne flowed freely and all was well. Mrs. Warner was delighted, or said she was, with the
