J. Nicholas Betley awarded the 2009 Kavli Graduate Thesis Award for Distinguished Research in Neuroscience

J. Nicholas Betley, a graduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences and from Tom Jessell's lab, has been awarded the 2009 Kavli Award for Distinguished Research in Neuroscience.

This award was presented to J. Nicholas Betley on January 12, 2010 by the Kavli Institute for Brain Science at Columbia University for his dissertation: "Stringent specificity in the construction of a presynaptic inhibitory circuit".
