Q:

Did you, since you were thinking of Munro as C.E.O., did you consult him about this, you know--him working with Davidson?

Heiskell:

At the end I did.

Q:

And what was his response?

Heiskell:

Not too hot.

Q:

And yet you Imposed that structure on them.

Heiskell:

Yes. Yes.

Q:

Why did you do that? This is, of course, with the hindsight that ultimately, he made--or I guess the board made--Davidson, as you well know, vice chairman, and I guess Munro became chairman and C.E.O., and then--was it Nickolas who became president?

Heiskell:

Yes.

Q:

So, in a way it seems like he undid that structure that you set up. Is that correct?

Heiskell:

Yes.

Q:

Why did you decide to impose it on him even though you knew he was, you know--
