Q:

What I just read to you recently about--sounds from what you just said--you know, the thing about you were considering spinning it off because of its capital requirements--sounds inaccurate!

Heiskell:

It wasn't really we were considering spinning it off because we had to, it was just--

Q:

You had this offer.

Heiskell:

It just looked too good to us to turn down, if it was for real. I'm never--I couldn't swear to you that it was for real, but somebody at Weyerhauser mentioned the figure of a billion and a half to Arthur.

Q:

Was it--you mean one of the Weyerhausers themselves?

Heiskell:

Somebody--I don't know who it was at Weyerhauser. And Arthur talked to me about it, and we both agreed that if anybody wanted to give us that, we would accept it quite happily.

Q:

You said that Arthur, in addition to wanting to buy that oil company, Easeon, that there were a lot of things that he wanted to buy. What were some of the things he wanted to buy?

Heiskell:

He spent all his life buying things. He's forever buying. Arthur Temple thinks money. Period.
