No, it wasn't up there yet.

Q:

It was not up -- still at --

Stanton:

Still at Union Square.

Q:

Union Square. Did you seriously think about it? Did you seriously think about leaving CBS at that point?

Stanton:

Well, if I did and if I had cast my lot with Paul, I would have had a divorce on my hands.

Q:

Oh, right.

Stanton:

So, I guess, I really didn't. I don't think I even talked about it with Ruth.

Q:

But you think you would have seriously considered it if that problem had not arisen?

Stanton:

Might well have because he was a stimulating guy. In the field of social research, there's no one who's ever had as many ideas as Paul had, and some of them he didn't -- Paul had the ideas and the concepts that he could conceptualize, he didn't give a damn whether
