Experimental observations of wavefunctions
In 2011, using scanning tunneling microscopy, nodal structures inside molecular wavefunctions were directly observed, proved that wavefunction is an objective physical field.
To document that discovery, in the third edition of Introduction to Scanning Tunneling Microcopy, a new Chapter, Imaging Wavefunctions is added.
In view of the new understanding of quantum mechanics, a manuscript of an entry-level textbook, The Real Quantum Mechanics, is basically completed. An outline is presented at the 2020 Summer Meeting of American Association of Physics Teachers. Here is the abstract and the video.
