Professor Dorian Warren, whose research fields include labor politics and urban politics, recently spoke to The New York Times and Bloomberg Television's InBusiness about the Chicago City Council's zoning committee approval of plans for a South Side Chicago Wal-Mart store, and the prospect and politics of the retail chain's expansion into other urban centers.
Professor Dorian is currently writing a book on the anti-Wal-Mart movement.
