Biography

Wei You joined the Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in July, 2019. His primary research focus is on queueing theory, applied probability, and their applications to the performance analysis and design of service systems. He was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Operations Research (2019) from Columbia University, advised by Professor Ward Whitt, and his B.S. degree in Mathematics (2014) from Nanjing University, China.
