Publications include: Desire and Death in the Spanish Sentimental Romance, 1440-1550; "Floire and Blancheflor" and the European Romance; articles in MLN, Hispanic Review, Bulletin of Hispanic Studies and Romance Quarterly. Current projects: Framed: Legal Fictions and the Medieval and Renaissance Novella Tradition and Women, National Allegory and the Conversion of History in Medieval and Early Modern Spain.
