Miguel Ibañez Aristondo

Miguel received his B.A. in French Philology from the Universidad del País Vasco (Vitoria);
he has a Master in Theory and Practice of Language and the Arts from École des Hautes
Études en Sciences Sociales (Paris).
Miguel taught Spanish, focusing on Economics and Political Science, as a Teacher¹s Assistant at the ESCP Business School from 2007 to 2009, and then at the Sorbonne, University of Paris IV, during the 2009-2011 academic years.
His research interests include the literary study of diaries, chronicles, cartography, and history concerning the discovery and colonization of the Spanish Americas and early modern political theory and socio-cultural history of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
