Alejandro Quintero
Graduate Student
Having studied both History and Philosophy at La Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, Alejandro successfully pursued an M.A. in Philosophy at The New School for Social Research. He has worked on such varied topics as Deleuze and Guattari’s stance on revolution and the satirical mannerisms of fin-de-siècle Colombian politicians. Now a PhD candidate in the Latin American and Iberian Cultures program, his current interests revolve around the antimodern thinkers and writers that can be identified along Colombia’s tortuous intellectual history of the past two centuries.
