Academic
Credit
Credit is transferred to Rice University as described in the Rice
General Announcements / Catalog, on line at http://www.rice.edu/catalog/
(see “Transfer Credit” on p.32-33). As
of the 2002-2003 academic year, students can receive general academic
credit (TRAN credit) as well as specific Rice equivalency credit.
See the Registrar, 116 Allen Center, for the proper forms.

2. Attend general
information sessions.
Michael Omiecinski, a recruiter from Biosphere 2, will be at Rice
on November 13, 2002. He will be meeting with students interested
in the program.

3. Visit
the Study Abroad office.
Speak with a study abroad advisor in the Office of Academic Advising
(1st Floor, Lay Student Center) to complete an application for the

4. Adhere
to the Columbia deadline for applications to Biosphere 2:
Fall: April 15
Summer: April 30
