Sorting Search Results

The Title Lists produced by most searches are displayed alphabetically by the title of each item in the list. The Re-sort results by option allows you to change the order in which catalog records are displayed on your list of search results.

To use the sorting option, on a title results page click on the Re-sort results by drop down box at the top left of the results list. Select one of the sort options:

Bullet Author
Bullet Title
Bullet Publication Date (oldest first)
Bullet Publication Date (newest first)

Your choice of sorting stays in effect only for the current set of results. When you do a new search, the order of catalog records for the next set of results goes back to the default, unless you have specified a different sort order in MyCLIO.
